Terms and Conditions for free event participation

This event is offered by Catherine Stevenson - freelance English teacher and teacher trainer based in Verona, Italy (P.IVA 04862400233). By participating in this event, you agree to the following terms.

1. About the September English Reset

The September English Reset is a free five-day online experience for English and CLIL teachers.

It includes:

• Five daily email prompts

• Five short speaking reflections

• An optional pop-up WhatsApp community

• A live Reflection & Conversation event

Participation is free, but registration is required.

2. Participation

The September English Reset is designed to be a supportive and welcoming experience.

You're welcome to complete the Reset entirely through the daily emails, or, if you wish, join the optional pop-up WhatsApp community.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have a suitable internet connection and any equipment needed to access the emails, WhatsApp community and live online session.

3. Pop-up WhatsApp Community

Joining the WhatsApp community is completely optional.

If you choose to join, please be aware that other participants will be able to see the phone number and display name associated with your WhatsApp account.

By joining the community, you agree to:

• treat other participants with kindness and respect

• keep discussions relevant to the September English Reset

• respect the privacy of everyone in the group

• not save, copy or share another participant's phone number or contact details without their permission

• not promote products, services or unrelated groups

• understand that anyone behaving inappropriately or disrupting the community may be removed.

The WhatsApp community is a temporary space and will close shortly after the event has finished.

4. Intellectual Property

All emails, prompts, videos, worksheets, live sessions and other materials shared during the September English Reset remain the intellectual property of Catherine Stevenson.

You're welcome to use the materials for your own personal or classroom reflection, but they may not be copied, shared publicly, sold or reused without written permission.

5. Live Session

The live Reflection & Conversation event is intended as an interactive learning experience.

If the session is recorded, participants will be informed beforehand. If you choose to turn on your camera or microphone, you understand that your image or voice may be included in the recording.

Participation is always optional.

6. Liability

The September English Reset is designed to support teachers in developing confidence using English and reflecting on their teaching.

Although every effort is made to provide a high-quality experience, I cannot guarantee individual results or specific outcomes.

To the extent permitted by law, I accept no liability for indirect or consequential loss arising from participation in the event.

7. Changes or Cancellation

In the unlikely event that the September English Reset needs to be postponed, cancelled or significantly changed, registered participants will be informed by email as soon as possible.

8. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by Italian law.

If you live within the European Union, your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

This Privacy Policy explains how I collect, use and protect your personal information when you register for the September English Reset or contact me through this website.

I respect your privacy and comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

4. Optional WhatsApp Community

If you choose to join the optional pop-up WhatsApp community, your participation is entirely voluntary.

Please note that:

• other participants will be able to see the phone number and display name associated with your WhatsApp account

• WhatsApp processes your personal data according to its own Privacy Policy

• anything you choose to share within the community is visible to other members

Please respect the privacy of other participants and do not save, share or use another participant's contact details without their permission.

5. How your information is stored

Your information is stored securely using trusted third-party providers, including:

• MailerLite (email communication)

• Gmail (email communication and Google Meet live event)

• WhatsApp (if you choose to join the optional community)

These providers have their own privacy policies and security measures.

I never sell your personal information or share it with third parties for marketing purposes.

6. How long I keep your information

Your information will be kept:

• while you remain subscribed to my emails

• until you ask for it to be deleted

• for as long as required to meet any legal obligations

You may unsubscribe from my emails at any time.

7. Your rights

Under GDPR you have the right to:

• correct inaccurate information

• request deletion of your information
